Why I’m Running
We need a charter that reflects who we are today and who we want to be. My work with the City of Vancouver has been extensive and hands-on, including time spent on the Planning Commission, Economic Development Strategy Steering Committee, and the Heights Community Investment Committee. This work has taught me the value of building partnerships across our community. I know how to navigate tough conversations and deliver results. On the Charter Commission, I’ll champion transparency and push for a government ready to meet the challenges of the future.
There are many strong parts of the charter which should be preserved. However, we have the wonderful opportunity to fine tune the parts that need a little maintenance. It’s time to think boldly, plan wisely, and move Clark County forward.
